Can AI be GDPR compliant? What to look out for.
As more and more AI chatbots enter the market, it is important for AI developers to be familiar with the GDPR to ensure their systems are compliant with data protection laws. On the other hand, it is just as important for the users of such systems to know their rights and the provisions of the GDPR relevant to AI. Cases like the recent case of AI chatbot Replica, which was found to have unlawfully collected personal data from minors, are a clear example of the lack of privacy awareness in the AI industry. Among other things, errors in the expiry time in connection with the downgrade of price packages have been fixed and display errors when using tools in the layer. Furthermore, metadata has been expanded in the SDK when using certain buttons. An incorrect output of country information has been corrected when exporting cookies.
