Cookie Crawler now also available as a standalone tool
Our Cookie Crawler is now even more versatile and flexible! From now on, you can also use it as a standalone tool – without having to create a CMP. The standalone option is useful for customers who do not (yet) want to switch their cookie banner to consentmanager, but already want to check the compliance of their websites, or for external data protection officers who want to keep an eye on their customers’ websites. For those who prefer a complete solution, the crawler will of course remain fully integrated into our CMP.
We have also introduced new features such as advanced filters that allow you to sort and organise crawler results by pages, providers or cookies. You will also receive new metrics in other areas, such as detailed SEO metrics like average load times or page sizes, to help you better understand the impact on your rankings and identify opportunities for optimisation.
Enjoy the new features in your consentmanager CMP dashboard and try them out right away. You will find all the new features in the consentmanager dashboard under the new menu item ‘Monitoring’.
How to perform a cookie audit – with a tool or manually
Performing a cookie audit not only gives you a clear overview of the cookies used on your website, it can also help you improve your website’s performance and identify potential privacy concerns early on. However, conducting an audit requires careful planning and, depending on the method you choose, can be time consuming. In our article, we explain the differences between a manual and an automated cookie audit, and walk you through the process step by step.

Ensure your cookie banner meets EAA 2025 accessibility requirements
The European Accessibility Act (EAA) 2025 will soon come into force. Websites, apps, software and therefore also cookie banners must be designed to be accessible from the implementation date of 27 June 2025. Our article explains in detail what this means and the basic principles of digital accessibility that you should be aware of. We use examples to show you step by step how you can customise the design and functionality of your cookie banner to be fully prepared.
