New features: Data Subject Rights (DSR) tool
The GDPR provides that those affected (such as website visitors, customers or other persons whose data is processed) enjoy certain rights. This includes, in particular, the right to query their rights and obtain information about the data processed. The rights include, among others:
- Right to information
- Right to rectification
- Right to delete
- Right to transfer data
- Right to restrict processing
- Right of objection
Our new DSR tool now allows you to give those affected an easy way to claim these rights: Use our tool to create a DSR form and integrate it into your website. Get an overview of the data subjects’ requests and the status of processing at any time.

Polish DPA on Whistleblower Protection Act
On August 7, the Polish Data Protection Authority (UODO) held a seminar on the interpretation of the Whistleblower Protection Act to help companies comply with the law. The definition of the identity of a whistleblower was expanded and now also includes indirect data to identify the identity, such as the workplace. Other topics included the retention periods for personal data and the various reporting channels for whistleblowers.

More optimizations and adjustments in September
To improve usability, a loading animation has been added to the privacy policy generator to indicate to the user that the creation of the privacy policy is in progress, as this process can take a few minutes. In addition, an error when starting the cookie crawl manually has been fixed. The crawl can now be started manually again. In the new interface, there were problems when creating data protection texts with the data protection declaration generator. This error has also been fixed.
