Generate a regulation-aligned privacy policy in minutes
Generate a structured, GDPR and FADP-aligned privacy policy from one dashboard. Available in 8 languages, hosted on EU servers, and connected to your consentmanager cookie banner.

A privacy policy is required by law
If your website or app collects personal data, regulations like GDPR and FADP require a privacy policy. A clear, current one shows users and regulators how your site handles their data.
Writing a privacy policy requires legal knowledge
Knowing what to disclose, how to phrase it, and which laws apply takes legal expertise. And as your site and the rules change, the policy has to keep up.
Generic templates are often inaccurate
A template rarely reflects what your site actually does: the tools you use, the data you collect, how you process it. Regulators expect a match.
consentmanager’s Privacy Policy Generator builds a regulation-aligned policy from your dashboard. Answer a few questions, get a policy that fits your setup.

What privacy and marketing teams say
Common questions about privacy policies
Yes. GDPR (Articles 13 and 14) requires every website that collects personal data to publish a privacy policy. Other laws like CCPA, PIPEDA, and LGPD have similar requirements. If you use cookies, analytics, forms, or any tracking, you need one.
At a minimum: what personal data you collect, why you collect it, your legal basis for processing, who you share data with, how long you store it, and what rights users have (access, deletion, withdrawal of consent). If you use automated decision-making or transfer data outside the EEA, that needs to be disclosed too.
It’s not recommended. Regulators expect your policy to reflect your actual data processing practices: which tools you use, what data you collect, and your specific legal bases. A generic template may leave gaps that misrepresent your actual data processing.
It’s included from the Starter plan at EUR 23/month, which also covers custom banner designs, Legal Shield, and ticket support. The Free plan includes core cookie banner functionality but not the Privacy Policy Generator.
A missing or inaccurate policy can lead to regulatory action under GDPR and similar frameworks, and it weakens user trust. Publishing a clear, current policy meets the requirement and shows visitors how your site handles their data.
