Webinar, September 9: your contact database is bigger than you think

Thousands of your existing customers already qualify for soft opt-in: they signed up, purchased, or filled in a form. Those consent records exist, but they’re scattered across your CRM, email platform, and signup forms. On September 9, we’ll show you how much email revenue is sitting behind that gap, and how to reach 50% or more of them with proof of consent.

Wednesday, September 9, 2026 · 11:00 CEST · 30 minutes, live with Q&A. Can’t make it? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording. Save your spot →

Coming soon from iubenda: recover the conversions your ad platforms are missing

Safari’s tracking restrictions, ad blockers, and consent gaps all cut into what your ad platforms actually see, so campaigns end up optimizing on partial data. iubenda’s new Server-Side Tracking closes that gap. Every event is checked against a valid consent record before it leaves your server, so nothing goes out for visitors who declined, and only real, consented signal reaches your ad platforms. Early access opens soon.

Danish regulator warns: everyday apps face rising scrutiny

Denmark’s Datatilsynet closed its two-year probe into a transit app’s GPS tracking without formal criticism, but flagged a real risk on the way out: if a user forgets to check out, tracking can continue after the trip ends, potentially exposing sensitive details like visits to a doctor or a place of worship. The signal for everyone else is that privacy-by-design scrutiny now reaches well beyond cookie banners. If you run an app, App Compliance Monitor scans SDKs, permissions, and consent flows, and flags what could become a regulatory problem.

What’s new this month

Here’s a quick summary of recent improvements.

NEW

  • consentmanager Help Page API endpoint is now publicly accessible.

IMPROVED

  • Rate limiting and resource quotas now apply to create and update endpoints, protecting the platform against abuse and keeping usage fair.
  • UI string translation pipeline fixed: new interface strings are now routable for translation and no longer stay stuck in English.

FIXED

  • Arabic auto-translation in the consent banner now produces fully localized output; mixed Arabic and Latin text and broken right-to-left display are resolved.
  • Right-to-left layout issues found after deploy have been corrected.
  • Consent banner position in the SDK now renders correctly regardless of configuration.
  • Privacy notice link in the SDK no longer opens a blank page.
  • Embed your own text now returns the correct JS payload; the privacy policy panel no longer shows raw HTML in-app.
  • Upgrade page now displays terms and conditions in the account’s dashboard language instead of defaulting to English.
  • Cookie monitoring tool no longer flags the consentmanager CDN domain (b.delivery.consentmanager.net) as a non-essential tracker.
  • GPC (Global Privacy Control) signal handling corrected.
  • Password reset flow now reliably sends recovery emails.
  • security.txt disclosure file is accessible at the expected path again.
