Spotlight Feature: Machine Learning to boost Cookie Banner Acceptance Rate

string(44) "https://www.consentmanager.net/en/knowledge/"

We’re highlighting a powerful feature that’s been with us for a while, but is still a game changer! We were the first to introduce a feature that increases your cookie banner acceptance rate by intelligently rotating designs and A/B testing them, to find the best performing one.

How does it work?

  1. Create multiple designs, e.g. one red, one blue one gray or with different texts or different button combinations.
  2. Select the banner designs in the CMP general settings and set your goal for optimization.
  3. Choose between acceptance rate, bounce rate, or a combination of both. The system adjusts its analysis based on your preferences.
  4. Once multiple designs are live, the system automatically rotates them for each visitor.
  5. Using intelligent machine learning capabilities, the system analyzes data from the A/B tests and identifiespatterns to determine which design works best for your which of audiences.
  6. The system learns and refines the display of designs over time. These can be different designs for different audiences: Perhaps Design A works well for mobile visitors, Design B works well for visitors from France, and Design C works best for visitors using Chrome. The system will choose the right design for each visitor.
  7. As the system learns, it prioritizes the designs with the highest acceptance rates or lowest bounce rates, ensuring that the best-performing designs are shown more often.
  8. Track the results in our optimization report and see which designs perform best. This provides insights for further refining the results with new designs.

Statistically, we’ve been able to see a 15% increase in cookie banner acceptance rates.

So why not try it for yourself?
